CrushPad — Our wines are made at the
CrushPad facility in San Francisco, California. We are indebted
to the fine people there. We love their business model and
best of all; they are truly fine folks we love to work with.
They share our passion for fine wine and make this journey
a lot of fun. We could not ask for better business partners.
Brian Loring — What can I say about
this guy that has not already been said? Well, there is that
incident with the llama in Santa Barbara…but I promised
not to talk about that. Seriously, I am proud to call this
gentleman my friend, mentor, and of course, consultant for
some of our wine recipes! Heck, you didn’t think I made all
of this up did you? Of course not. I asked smart people for
help!
A.P.Vin, Andrew Vingiello — Run, do
not walk to this guy’s mailing list! A more Pinot-passionate
man you will not meet. Makes wine with Brian Loring in Lompoc,
CA. I have done more punch-downs with Andrew than…I don’t
want to think about it—makes my arms hurt.
Peter Cargassacchi — Ever read the
Epic of Gilgamesh? Know anything about the Council
of Nicea? How about Point Conception Wines? Start with the
wines. Peter is a gentleman and a scholar. He is a fellow cattle
rancher hence I am automatically fond of him. Did you know
you can feed your cattle pressed grape skins and seeds? Just
don’t let them have too much. Nothing worse than a bloated
cow stoned on pressings. It ain’t pretty, it ain’t funny.
Scott Shapley — Scott is the primary
Pinot and Syrah genius at CrushPad! Very talented man, formerly
of Siduri and Novy fame. If you want to make really good wine,
call CrushPad, talk to Scott!
John Ogden — John makes really good
Syrah. Nice guy too. Heck of a combination, nice guy, makes
good wine. It is what I aspire to also!!
